Album Jacket of Last Look at Eden アルバム・ジャケット

新アルバム、Last Look at Eden のアルバム・ジャケットです。

半分に切ったリンゴの周りにとげが密集して生えている画像ですが、アダムとイブがエデンの園を追われた理由は、蛇に姿を変えた悪魔にそそのかされて、神様から「この木の実だけは食べてはいけない」と言われていた知恵の実を食べたからであって、その知恵の実とは、一般にリンゴだと言われているからです。

周りに生えているトゲトゲは、食べられないようにする為だと思います。アダムとイブがリンゴを食べさえしなければ、ラスト・ルック・アト・イーデン「エデンの園にさようなら」何てことにはならず、二人の子孫である人類も皆、エデンの楽園で幸せに暮らしていられたのですから。

A spiked half-cut apple indicates a forbidden fruit on a tree in Eden.  According to the belief of Christianity the original sin of human being is the one of Adam and Eve who happily lived in Eden, a paradise, having ate an apple against the order of the God not to eat it because it bring them wisdom.  They has not been forgiven by the God and got driven out of eden. 

At least Iraqi people believes that an old apple tree standing at a place where The Tigris and The Euphrates Rivers meat is the one whose fruit was eaten by Adam and Eve.
